Titilope Ajimuda, Community Development Advocate

Titilope Ajimuda is a passionate community development advocate with several years of hands-on experience supporting organizations focused on child protection, education, gender equality, and youth empowerment across Nigeria.

Her journey in the development sector began in 2017 with CEE-HOPE Nigeria, where she served as a Project Assistant until 2023. In this role, she contributed to advocacy and outreach initiatives promoting the rights and education of girls in marginalized communities. Her work included community sensitization, project coordination, and capacity-building programs designed to empower young people and women. Through close engagement with vulnerable children and families, she developed a deep appreciation for grassroots participation and the importance of amplifying community voices.

In May 2017, she represented MAEJT Nigeria (African Movement of Working Children and Youth) as a delegate at the launch of the Abidjan–Lagos Corridor (CORAL Project) in the Benin Republic—an initiative focused on reducing illegal child migration and trafficking across West Africa while advocating for children’s rights and regional participation.

In 2024 and 2025, she represented her community, Makoko, at One Ocean Week in Bergen, Norway, following nominations and sponsorship by CEE-HOPE Nigeria. This global environmental forum provided a platform for sharing local perspectives on ocean conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable development, further strengthening her commitment to environmental advocacy and the inclusion of community voices in global dialogues.

Beyond formal engagements, she has volunteered with several reputable organizations, including Slum2School, Cece Yara Foundation, and EYAI (Engage Youth Africa Initiative). Through these roles, she has supported programs centered on education access, child protection, mental health awareness, and youth development—experiences that have broadened her programmatic expertise and deepened her dedication to meaningful social impact. Driven by compassion, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to equality, Titilope continues to champion the belief that every child—regardless of background—deserves safety, education, and the opportunity to thrive. She remains dedicated to building stronger, more inclusive communities where young people can realize their full potential.
